Cheryl J., Are you taking an antibiotic for the UTI? Sometimes, that can trigger problems with

digestion, swallowing, and etc. If not, then I suggest you get a referral to a gastro doc and get it

checked out. Some lupus patients develop problems with swallowing. Also, if you are a fast eater,

it would be wise to slow down, chew thoroughly, and drink something after each bite. Try those

first, then see about a gastro doc. Let us know how it goes for you. Hugs, MM

Hello Fellow Lupies,

Since I am new to this, I am still in learning mode. I read all of

your posts, but I don't write much. I enjoy reading, and thank all of

you for your participation. My question is, do any of you have

indigestion problems? I have had acid reflux, etc. for a very long

time, but now I have a new problem. EVERY time I eat it is like my food

gets stuck in my throat, like when you swallow a pill and it doesn't go

down. Or like my stomach can't handle the food and it gets backed up in

my throat. Is that weird or what? I know that I have to go see my

doctor, but I really dread it, I have been there once a week for the

past 3 weeks, 2 for UTI and then for strange pain in my right arm. But,

I really can't handle this indigestion/whatever it is! Thanks for your

input, I appreciate all of you!
