First, if this page is current, the school is ignorant on its own

state law. It says you have until October 15 to provide proof of

immunization

You might want to contact this organization

This page gives ideas on how to write your exemption

Good luck.

Here is what I used in NJ, it worked without any problems. There is

also a website, search for " religious vaccine exemption " that lists

various examples by state. Good luck!

In accordance with New Jersey State Law, we hereby certify that the

administration of vaccine and other immunizing agents to our child,

xxxxxx, conflicts with our sincerely held religious beliefs. We

therefore require that our child be exempted from the school

immunization requirements in accordance with the exemption clause

found in New Jersey's Administrative Code.

We believe in God, and that God has created us in His image. In

being created in God's image, we are given his perfect immune

system. We are bestowed with His gift, the immune system. We believe

it is sacrilegious and a violation of our sacred religious beliefs

to violate what God has given us by showing a lack of faith in God.

Immunizations are a lack of faith in God and His way, the immune

system.

We believe that God loves us, and will take care of us if we place

our trust in Him. We believe that immunizations show no faith in

God's promises of protection for us, saying to God that you trust

man more than His holy words of protection for us.

Our beliefs teach us that children are a gift from God and that we

are entrusted with their care and welfare. We are choosing to do our

God given duty and responsibility to protect our child by not

subjecting our child to the risks of vaccines.

" As a consequence, your faith rests not on the wisdom of men but on

the power of God. "

(1st COR 2:5)

" If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For the

temple of God is holy, and you are that temple. " (1st COR: 3:17)

We are informed of and fully understand the risks of non-

immunization for our child. We swear that all of the foregoing

statements are true to the best of our information, knowledge and

belief.

Sincerely,

xxxxx

Our principal said that our district's rules are more strict than the

IL law and therefore no kids without current vaccines can even attend

school. Vaccinations must be current by the first day of school.

I think my new letter should put them in their place.

Say, do you think the current Whitehouse might have an interest in

the religious angle on this issue?

I would tell him that you reject their rejection and, if they

continue to pursue violating state law, you're certain the ACLU

would be willing to take on your case. No, I'm not kidding, I would

say it and I usually try to use honey than vinegar. Stand your

ground, they are trying to use fear. My own district tried to make

me think I had to sign a form which stated I understood I am harming

my daughter and they can still force me to vaccinate. I never signed

it, they never pursued it.
