Guest guest
Hi I experienced the flare ups for two years: Typically I could walk unaided for maybe a week and then would have to go back to a crutch for two weeks, then back again. I have wondered if it was the weather, something I was eating, or just a reflection of the amount of rest I gave the hip. I suspect it was the latter. I don't know about the temperature - I didn't take it - but I didn't tend to feel so good. ine > Hi, > I have OA of both hips i have had my right resurfaced and it's great,[1 year this may].However my left has gone now and i'm having this resurfaced in August.I have flare ups,i can be mobile for 2 weeks or more then for no reason at all my left hip seizes up,and my temperature goes up and i'm sweating. Guest guest
I too have OA and that type of pain along with everything els eand have fallen several times as a result of it. The rest of the time I groan. After looking at my MRI, it makes sense. I am very careful about all that I do and of course I know it's time for surgery. I am waiting for my insurance to kick-in (it will pay for " investigational " ) and will be looking for a surgeon in the US, hopefully on the West Coast, that will do bilateral.
