Guest guest
Anne, Glad you have checked in. I was wondering why you were so quiet. Don't even mention unfinished projects!!! Every area of my life is full of them. Why don't you try to go to an endo soon? Just get it over with like the dentist and dermatologist. If you think T3 would help, you should go for it. Do you know of a good endo in the area who would be willing to listen? Glad to hear about your dog. That's exciting. My sister just rescued one (I think it's a lab), and she says her kids are thrilled. Take care. Can't wait to meet you and Elaine! ----- Original Message ----- From: " Anne Kunzen " <kunzen@...> < egroups> Sent: Tuesday, April 25, 2000 10:49 AM Subject: [ ] Checking in > Hi all, I have been quiet here, but I have been trying to keep up with > reading the posts. Guest guest
, I have been thinking about going ahead and asking my doctor for a referal. A helpful hint that I found on the about.com thyroid site...I am going to ask at the pharmacy for a list of doctors who prescribe T3 or Armour Thyroid, and then check to see if there are any on my medical plan. Just so happens that I work at a Jewel/Osco, and I know the pharmacist who will be able to help me out. My doctor will usually give me a referral for a doctor of my choice, if there is one on the plan. That way I know ahead of time that the doctor believes in this kind of thyroid hormone therapy, and will prescribe it. I will be extremely excited when they find a dog for our family, it is sooo hard to be patient. But I know that, as careful as they are to match families with dogs, we will get a great one! Talk to you later! Fondly, Anne
