Guest guest Posted June 19, 2004 Report Share Posted June 19, 2004 Hi, Jasper will have his casts changed again in the morning. Last week he changed from his second to third cast. His left foot has gone from 4.5 before casting to 1.5, right foot 4.5 to 3 (a bit stiffer). Last week after the casts came off there was a lot of bruising along both feet and pressure soes which hadn't opened but were very red and sore. Both feet were swollen but we were expercting this. Is bruising normal? Could it be attributed to the fact that he is a low birth weight baby and is growing very fast (around 21 ounces/day or 60 grams) or are his feet slipping?
