Trying to contact any parents whose children have benefited or

otherwise from this. Would be really grateful for your help.

Try subscribing to the list on . You'll find many parents

whose children are currently on the protocol on there. It has been very

helpful for my son especially with his motor problems, focus/attention, getting

rid

of his hyperactivity and in bringing in higher order thinking

skills/reasoning. The protocol only addresses viral and fungal problems, along

with food

allergies, but if that is affecting your child, it could be very beneficial.

Dr.

Goldberg does order some interesting immune tests that most DAN docs don't

typically order. I wish we had run them long ago to have something to compare

them to when my son was very ill and metals toxic. He lists them on his

website for anyone who wants to get an idea of what he focuses on --

www.neuroimmunedr.com. You can also go to that website and get on the chat

every Tuesday

night at 7pm pacific time.

Speaking from experience, I would probably go with a Dr. who looks at all

aspects of Autism. Dr. Mc Candless would be my choice. She also addresses

the viral issues. I think I read in the first " Children With Starving

Brains " that 30 percent of the kids improve with the antivirals. We

improved, however we committed too long to Dr. G and I feel since looking at

the metals issues and peeling the layers away even further are still making

slow progress. After almost 3 years with Dr. G we stagnated and finally

moved on.

It's Dr. Goldberg, and speaking from personal experience as well, I would

recommend looking elsewhere.
