I' sorry to hear about the job troubles and moving stuff. You all make me

appreciate what i have! At least Craig has a job, and we have the business,(even

if it seems to eat more income than it makes!) and we almost have our hom paid

off. we may be short on cash most of the time, but at least we know that if we

keep plodding, there will be money coming in. Hope work finds you soon! What

does a test engineer do anyway?

Hi everyone,

I have some news I wanted to share. It is rather long.

Things have been very hectic and I have not had much time for

this group.

In the past month, I have lost my job, sold my house, bought

another house and moved. Well, that all happened about 3

weeks ago. We are getting close to being all unpacked. There is

only 1 room that really needs work.

Today, we took to see his pediatric endocrinologist for a

follow up since starting growth hormone in mid May. Since his

visit in March he has grown about 3 cm or about 1.25 " . Most of

that since starting growth hormone in May. He has not gained

any weight in over 6 months. In fact he is about a poind and a

half lighter. If this weight loss had happened last year, we would

have been getting very nervous. Now, for some reason, it does

seem as important. I guess it is because he is growing, and

developing. He is eating more but he is also much more active.

He is happy, healthy, curious, snd very social ( at least with

adults). The docotr was a little concerned that he hasn't grown

more with the growth hormone and may up the dose in 3

months. All in all, my 5 year old son is doing great.

In other news, his speech therapist has recommendedd

reducing his therapy because he is progressing rapidly.

We still have no therapy in place for his Sensory Integration

issuses, but that may come in time.

We are happy in our new home but wonder daily how we will

manage to keep it with no income on the horizon. Soon we will

start using the proceeds from the sale of our home for our day to

day expeenses. We calculate we can manage to stay here a

year. Hopefully I can find another test engineering position

before that.

Rob W. has started a new RSS list that is not filed with ads like

this one. So far I like what I see there.

Last, I want to thank Deb B in Toronto for moderating while I was

in the middle of moving. Thanks Deb for your help and your

jokes.

Well, time for me to look for work.

I hope everyone is well.
