Guest guest
I decided to chelate myself before putting my daughter through it so that I would have an idea of what it's like . I am doing ALA rounds, 60 mg (120 lb). The first round went smoothly. The day after I ended the second round I had a pretty strong headache - is that normal for the off days? Guest guest
, I can't answer yet, I had my last amalgam removed last week so I have to wait three months, but I have a question for you (trying to understand my 3 year old's behavior after round four ALA only) - are you experiencing mood swings (irritabile, obstinate?) Thanks a million and please post updates as you go through this experience as he can't tell me anything. -KIM [ ] ALA chelation I decided to chelate myself before putting my daughter through it so that I would have an idea of what it's like . Guest guest
Have you still got amalgam fillings? Dagmar. Guest guest
60 mg might be a little bit high, you might want to reduce to 25% - 33% of your body weight next round. Start very slow with your child, 1/8 of body weight. My husband (he also wanted to start chelating himself before starting on our son) experienced strong headaches the first 2 or 3 rounds, but during the rounds, not after. I posted here and I got some replies that it might be yeast, or not taking enough supplements, or redistribution. Andy Cutler suggested CoEnzyme Q10. I think my son also got headaches the first rounds but he was non verbal at that time so it is hard to tell. > I decided to chelate myself before putting my daughter through it so > that I would have an idea of what it's like . Guest guest
To the best of my knowledge, no. I had my amalgams removed years ago. All I see is white, I have to believe he got it all. I also have a post and core, but I'm told posts don't have mercury, usually gold or titanium. > Have you still got amalgam fillings? > > Dagmar. Guest guest
What schedule? I presume you have no mercury amalgam dental fillings. Guest guest
This might not be frequent enough. With ALA Andy advises every 3 hours (possibly up to 4 during the night). Dagmar. I do not know. Titanium is not good, but I do not know about titanium dioxide. I think you are missing vit E, vit A, Zinc, Selenium, Magnesium unless they are already in your multi vit in proper dosages. > I have co q10 sitting on my shelf, so I will add that to my daily > regimen. > > Speaking of things I just noticed, my children have a daily multiple > which I noticed has aspartame, aluminum oxide, and copper oxide - I > should toss that right? Guest guest
I can't imagine that the father would pass a significant amount of mercury from his amalgams to the baby. If there was that much mercury in the one cell which the baby gets from his father, I don't think the baby could survive. The mother one the other hand doesn't just provide the one egg cell, but another potential 7 lb worth of nutrition, which the baby uses to grow to his birth weight. Dagmar. Guest guest
> This question is basically for Dana...b/c I have seen her address > this method most...I am curious did you do the ALA chelation > yourself or under the guidance of a professional... Myself. if so what brand > was the product and how did u administer? I use Natural Factors ALA, from my local health food store. I started at low dose and worked up from there. My kids tolerated a 3x per day protocol, altho some require dosing every 3-4 hours. Dana
