Guest guest
Hello Everyone; Just wanted to let all of you know about the new version of the service guide for Invisible/Hidden Disabilities. I am pleased to let you know that the advanced copies of the Service Guide for Invisible/Hidden Disabilities has been completed early due in part that it was important to bring honorable mention to our Vice President, Dr. Kirk A. Woodson, M.D., M.S. who recently passed away from a massive heart attack on the 17th of March 04. The guide consists of the following information and is not limited to data on EDS such as the revised nosology 1997, EDS & the ER, other EDS related articles of interest, a host of web links that now stand at ( 411), and EDS and medical terms related glossary that contains 970 terms that related to and non-related to EDS. Service Dog translations from English to Spanish, English to Chinese, and English to Vietnamese (14pgs) of various Exercise that vary from those who use a wheelchair to those who utilize the various therabands. The guide is available in two versions, the first being a hard copy that contains all the information that you can take with you to any provider, or a soft copy that contains all the web links and medical terms, due in part to the size of the material I couldn't fit everything into a Pdf. format. In closing, I have enclosed my home page and also the groups page that we have put together to help others with EDS. In the event that you wish to obtain a hard copy of the service guide please feel free to contact me at the below e-mail address.
