Guest guest Posted August 30, 2004 Report Share Posted August 30, 2004 Hi - I wrote a few weeks ago because my 16 month old son had been released from the DBB at 10 months of age and now his clubfoot is recurring. We saw one of Dr. Ponseti's specialists in Cincinnati and she agrees that he must go back in the brace, and gave us a website of a new shoe that Dr. Ponseti has approved for the DBB. It is made by a man who works with Dr. Ponseti named . It is a sandal with open toes and heels and looks like it would be A LOT EASIER to get on than the current Markell laced shoes. Has anyone tried the new shoe, and if so, how is it? I am thinking of ordering it because my son just will not sit still to let me lace up his DBB shoes.
