Hi Cheryl,

The same thing happens to my Mom. Her doctor told her she had a hiatial hernia and that was causing the food to get hung up in her throat. Don't know if that's what's happening to you though.

Hello Fellow Lupies,Since I am new to this, I am still in learning mode. I read all ofyour posts, but I don't write much. I enjoy reading, and thank all ofyou for your participation. My question is, do any of you haveindigestion problems? I have had acid reflux, etc. for a very longtime, but now I have a new problem. EVERY time I eat it is like my foodgets stuck in my throat, like when you swallow a pill and it doesn't godown. Or like my stomach can't handle the food and it gets backed up inmy throat. Is that weird or what? I know that I have to go see mydoctor, but I really dread it, I have been there once a week for thepast 3 weeks, 2 for UTI and then for strange pain in my right arm. But,I really can't handle this indigestion/whatever it is!
