Hello Everyone

I had bilateral hip resurfacing on 20/08/03. The other Friday night I was

woken with agony in my left knee. My left hip feels fine and the pain (which

was agony) was gone by the morning. Do you think this is a reaction from my

left hip? I suffer from osteonecrosis or avascular necrosis - steriod induced.

I mention this because the pain I had when my hips were collapsing was usually

in my knees and also totally went away, as it pleased, all on its own.

Has anyone else had knee pain so many months following surgery? I didn't

'over do it' on the day in question so don't suppose I put it under any

additional stress.
