Hey everyone -- I need your help! :-) I've waited until the last minute for something I'm involved in and now I must call in all favors.. ;-)

As the leader for the Southern Illinois Lupus Support Group, our group had decided at a past meeting to have a team in the upcoming Arthritis Walk that is being held May 1st at University Mall. Each one of us on the team is responsible for collecting donations. It's not based on how far you walk, etc., just a flat donation such as $5.00 or whatever amount. Well, since we've been so very busy with "SI Yellow Ribbon" and all the new soldiers boxes we've been working hard on getting out, that I'm sad to say as "Team Captain" I've neglected getting out and working on getting donations and now I have less than two weeks to do so! *eek*... So that is where you can help!!! LOL Any amount whatsoever would be wonderful, every dollar counts!!! You can send money via paypal online to mom2callie@... (mark somewhere in the title or notes, "Arthritis Walk 2004") or if you want to mail a check or money order, you can make it out to "Arthritis Foundation" and receipts can be sent for all donations if you request one, all donations are tax-deductible.

As you all know, Arthritis affects thousands of individuals in many different forms, with our Lupus we are all too familiar with Arthritis and why it needs research funding, awareness campaigns, etc.. Here in my state alone, 1 in 3 individuals in Illinois are affected with Arthritis! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and feel free to email me with any questions!!!
