Guest guest
Hmmm does your doctor know you were reading your chart?? Technically that is a no-no even though it is our right to know. I get copies of everything, all progress notes from other docs, lab work, xrays, etc and keep them here at home in one of my filing cabinets. What you want to do is at the check in window tell the girl/girls you would like copies of your medical records if you do this like every 6 months it shouldn't cost u a dime, if you have never done it and want copies dating back from the first time you saw the dr they may or may not charge you - I know one of my docs charge me like .5 a page which is fine with me cuz I have everything, even the stuff where he writes his own personal comments =) Doesn't hurt to have this hon it will surprise you and you may even realize you have other ailments that they may have forgotten to inform you about - that is how I found out about one of my diseases. Have fun at the docs - my arm is still sore and I did indeed fracture my clavicle - I saw the ortho doc yesterday. Call me later - I have to go to see Gastro doc at 2:30 but will be home after. Luv ya > Yea, I have to be there at 10:20 and I'll ask for a copy of them so I don't forget them. I looked at my chart when I went to the rhuemy's last week but after looking at all of them I forgot what it was. I remember there was one number over the other one and I checked the last two times they did it, but then I got to reading other stuff and forgot what the numbers were. So today I will ask for a copy! > >
