Guest guest
Hey Cap'n, I do not understand how you could possibly make a remark like that. What do you mean by stating that De Smets' record isn't all success stories?? Which ones haven't been??? Certainly none that I am aware of. Haven't you read his just published paper? I know of one older gentleman - a patient of Koen's- who had a fractured femoral head. He was not the best candidate for a resurf and Koen was the first to tell me. However the gentleman is quite happy with his large head MOM device. I DID remark that Dr De Smet is not afraid of litigation as I do believe - apparently as you do- that it could possibly make a difference. Now now, Cap'n. No need to put him down needlessly or bash the very good Belgium doc. I know that you are a miracle story, too!!! Many surface hippies no longer post because they have put the past behind them. For the time being I am compelled to try to offer to help others because my life is so changed. I WAS told I'd never climb or cycle hard again. Life is indeed a hoot once more!!
