Guest guest
Hi Angel, My son has an atypical club foot, from what I understand. His foot is very small and slow to grow. there is a marked difference in the sizes of his feet right now. He also seems to have very tight tendons which is resulting in slow progress. His first adventure into DBB brace was unsuccessful because of his small foot and thick ankle. His foot kept popping right out of the shoe no matter what we did to anchor it in there. He's got a cast on now again and will probably remain in casts for another month before we try DBB again. just turned 4 months yesterday. We're remaining optimistic. 3/30/04 Rt. club foot. kitaki m_kitaki@...> wrote: I am trying to put together a " network " so to speak, of parents with children who have various kinds of atypical clubfeet so that new parents who come here looking for support for this can see that they are not alone and can maybe find someone in their own area or at least going to the same doctor to compare experiences with. Also, I am very experienced with plantaris-type atypical clubfoot, but not with the other kinds. Perhaps having a list of the different children/parents and what about the foot/feet is atypical would allow two people facing the same issues to get in contact with eachother. So, if anyone is interested in being a part of this list, please let me know at m_kitaki@... or on list. Thanks, Angel
