Guest guest
Hello , My grandson Logan had 3 week casts removed on 09-03-04. His little legs were bruised and scratched, and he had open weeping sores behind his little knees. The doctor said that his casts had been put on incorrectly at the knees and too tight for any growth. The doctor had them get medicated gauze (used for bed sores) to apply to weeping sores & they put him on antibiotic to reduce chance of infection. Daughter says that he is doing much better. Adjusting to shoes and brace with no problem. She does say that his legs are very sensitive to touch, but that is easing up also. Hope this helps, Sally (Logan's & Meegan's Grandma " Boo " )
