Well I was asked to send this questionarre along, so

here it is.

Age range: I'm almost 35

Male/female: f

What are the symptoms? fatigue, pain,

numbness/tingling, fog, tremors, muscle weakness,

irrabablity.

Has you illness been diagnosed? Yes

How long did you suffer before you got help? 13 years

Is there a time that you can remember when it started?

Not for sure. Sometime in my early 20s. I had so much

energy and felt good (most of the time) then BAM it

was all over.

Some of us have found lack of exercise we are

overweight. Have you

found this to be a problem also?

I am not overweight. I was 25 lbs overweight last year

and lost 25 lbs in 6 weeks following 'body for life'.

It was very hard (the excersise), but I've maintained

the weight.

Are you on disability? no

Do you have sleep problems? How do you deal with it?

Most of the time I have no sleep problems. Sometimes

during the night I will awake and not be able to

return to sleep. But that is not too often these days.

Do you have family that understands your illness?

....Let me tell you. My 1st husband (who I see all the

time) asked me just the other day: " Do you still have

trouble absorbing vitamins? " . When we were married

(10 yrs ago) that is what the Doctor told me was my

problem. So my ex sticks to this still, even though I

have told him I have EBV. My mother has no clue what

to make of it all -- she has her own drama. My son

seems to be trying to do as much as he can (he is 10),

my daughter is too young to understand (she is 3)

Some have found certain foods causes problems with CFS

or Fibro, have

you?

I'm a vegetarian. Since going of the meat (all meat) I

have had a better time with sleep actually. Maybe

something to do with the digestion process. I drink

only one caffinated drink a day as well.

What type of Doctor have you found that has helped you

the most?

The only doctors that helped me were both Rheumy's. My

GP who is also a Rheumy and his friend who is a

Rheumy.
