Guest guest
Dear Helen . . . . . . recently someone told me about a home remedy for soreness due to injuries etc. Apparently this formula (if you can call it a " formula " ) has been around for ages but I'd never heard of it: Put 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar in a quart of warm water. Soak a wash cloth in it and wrap the aching joint or injured area. Plastic can be used to cover the wet cloth if necessary. What she told me was the inside of our bodies is alkaline but the skin is acidic. The vinegar stimulates the skin and the blood comes to the surface to facilitate healing. She's a licensed massage therapist and seems to know what she's talking about. A friend of mine hit a branch with her knee while riding her horse and actually fell off the horse. She used the vinegar solution on her very sore knee and it felt better in a couple of days. Good luck. Love, C.
