Guest guest
Brat, Get SOME rest!?! I can't do anything BUT. Today I have this hangover and I didn't get to have any of the fun I used to have to get one. Now, that's not fair, y'all. I am still having moments of grogginess today, but not as much as yesterday, and they did tell me it could take up to 36 hours for the stuff to leave my system. It is taking every minute of that, and more, seems like to me. LOL Mostly, I resent the lost time when I could be up and doing, all I can do is make a short trip to the kitchen, back to bed, up to bathroom, back to bed, up to laundry room, back to bed. Up, can't remember what I got up for, ...back to bed. BORING. BORING. BORING. I can't even get off like a slug of snails today. As our dear would say, PPFFFFT!. Guest guest
Sue, Wish I could think that. LOL But, I remember everything right up until the doctor sprayed my throat with some God awful numbing stuff that tasted horrible, and burned when it hit my throat. I remember the nurse behind me asking if she should "hit me now", and the doc saying, to go ahead. That was it until I woke up in recovery about an hour later. The drug cocktail they give you has an amnesiac as part of it so you don't remember the test at all. You are awake enough to follow orders, but not enough to feel pain, or to fight. I do remember also that they put cotton restraints on my wrists to keep me from trying to push their hands away while they were threading that thing down my gullet. I must have been a sight to behold. LOL Feeling much better today, no headache, and no grogginess so far. Hugs, MM

Guest guest
Glad to hear your tests went well - I sure hope the results turn out well (by finding something they can fix) as well! A thought - maybe they grogginess afterwards is on planned to happen so you can dream about and pretend you partied for those 36 hours to get the "hangover"?
