LOL I have some hours where the pain and fatigue isn't quite as bad, so this morning I am trying to get my kitchen into shape. My son, Randy, turns 16 on Sunday, and the family are coming for cake and ice cream that afternoon. In the past, I would have put on a dinner and invited Randy's friends, and all, but just not up to it this time around. He is being very understanding about it all, but I know he'd like a bigger fuss. As it is, I am taking him to see Bill Cosby on Saturday night. That was his only gift request when the tickets came available. He wants to meet the man, too, but I haven't been able to arrange that, I'm afraid. I met him years ago in Tahoe, but I'm sure he meets so many people, he wouldn't remember me. I was much younger and better lookin' then. LOL I am just hoping I can make it though his performance and dinner on Saturday, and then the company and cake, etc. on Sunday. Have a feeling I'll be resting a lot on Monday, again...ick.
