Guest guest
Well, has mono. She also has very low potassium and something else I can't remember. He also did the rib series, and her ribs are not broken. So, she has done some damage to the tissues. This really makes me mad - he showed us on his computer that 's blood tests have shown mono since October! Can you beleive that? Her damn pediatrican never even told us! Now, he's doing the tests to find out what virus it is. He thinks it's Epstein Barr. Also, he thinks she may have had the same UTI for the last year and a half. Like the medication has never even worked, and she's had this infection all along. He did more blood tests to find out which antibiotic to give her. We'll find out next tuesday. So, she's got to eat a lot of bananas, potatoes, tomatoes, red meat, milk shakes, etc. She has to gain weight and rest. She will allways be very thin, but right now, she is too thin. So, It's steaks and baked potatoes and milk shakes for dinner tonight. haha I'm so mad that her last dr didn't say a thing about it. I mean, when there is a problem in the numbers on a blood test, they show up as bright red numbers. So, what's up with that? I'm so releived! Now, I'm thinking I should get checked for epstine barr. Maybe that's why I'm so tired. I got sick a few years ago and lost a lot of weight, and am still underwieght. Maybe I've got it too.
Guest guest
I am so pleased , see? No worries. Mono is no laughing matter though, but I know what you were thinking it was and to discover that this isn't the worst, is good news for all.
