Sources for obtaining books

In regards to the post about the high price of all the books

mentioned--- Have you checked with your local library? Even if they

don't have a book on their shelf they can sometimes borrow it from

another library. Another source is your local Center for Autism and

Related Disabilities or similar organization. Ours has a lending

library for parents and teachers etc.. Also, check with your local

school board district office - special education department. It

couldn't hurt to ask if you could borrow materials. And last - check

with your state Dept of Education. Ours has a parent lending library

where one can check out materials. These resources may not have

every book you are looking for but every little bit helps. Oh yeah,

if you do have to buy a book try ordering it from a book store that

gives member discounts like Books-A-Million.
