IOWA BOUND in the AM! Casts #2(for regression)

HEllo to all and thanks to all who posted to my 'return' post a few

weeks ago. Kavan has done tremendously well adapting to both of his

legs/feet being casted again, which is remarkable at 3 1/2. I am

leaving the other 7 children home this trip ( they ALL went with me

on his appt. two weeks ago!), so it will be Kavan and I pounding down

the 7 hour trip from Indiana. I am sure it will not be quiet or

boring as my sweetie has INSISTED we take all five of his WIGGLES

videos to watch and listen to while enroute! LOL

We will head out around 12 noon and should arrive in Iowa by around

7PM. We are staying at the Best Western Canterbury Suites ( my

favorite hotel in Coralville!) OUr appointment with Papa Ponseti is

at 10:00AM on Friday morning, then we will turn around and head right

back to Indiana.. wish us luck, huh?! LOL

Tina and Kavan (born: 6/25/00 w/ bilateral cf, was treated by Papa

Ponseti and was completely corrected. Quit wearing bar (at prompting

of local orthopod at 3, Kavan went through a HUGE growth spurt and

regressed. Been back in casts for the last 2 weeks, off to get

second set. Papa Ponseti said it will take at least 2 sets, maybe 3

and unfortunately probably another tenotomy in the one foot. Momma

is hoping and praying not about that...)
