The Methadone- guess it did not agree with me- wasn't feeling too well as it was

then blooey he changed my avinza (morphine) to methadone........... which is

better in the long run but guess the abrupt drop of morphine and the sudden

change to the methadone- did me in........ I finally landed my butt in the

emergency room last night, where they gave me a shot of morphine and something

for my stomach- not sure what that stomach stuff is there that they use but sure

wish it was OTC............. miracle stuff that is, the morphine really didnt

seem to touch but most likely it is due to the fact that the avinaz (morphine) I

was on was 90 mgs and then am sure at hospital they gave only about 10. So

still feeling pretty blah- dizzy etc..... but will make it.....

He now has changed mind and made it so I take the avinza daily and first week

take one methadone with it as well........ so he can get me off the avinza and

on to the methadone completely in the end.

Then second week- one morphine and two methadone-

Third week, one morphine 3 methadone......... Gosh that third week seems like

quite a bit to me......... will most likely call before that week to be double

sure- as his secretary is the one who told me and we all know how they can

sometimes get people and dosages screwed up.......... so many patients etc....

Better to be safe than sorry- so will definitely call before that third week

hits.

Since this all happened last night- guess the only questions I really have are:

Were you on anything prior to taking the Methadone?

How many do you take a day?

How many mgs in each tablet?

And would you risk the above 3rd week and take 3 Methadone a day with one 90 mg

Avinza ( morphine ) as well ?
