Ha ha.

Took to the urgent care cause her ears started hurting. Didn't want to

end up in the hospital in the middle of the night again with a kid with intense

ear pain.

103 fever, coughing, swollen glands the size of melons -

She's got bronchitis.

And, if you can imagine, coughing hurts, cause all the inflamation they caused

during her surgery. It still gives her trouble.

I can't beleive - $45.00 for 3 pills! The antibiotic zithromax. $45.00!

That's just incredible. 3 pills.

she also got albuterol pill, and vicodin cough syrup.

We've never had bronchitis before, so this is all new to me.

But, just talked on line with a few of her friends that she hung out

with last weekend. They ALL have it.

They ALL were at the dr today.

Geeze, I hope they didn't have an orgy or something!!! (that's just a little

joke - you know!!)

and so it goes........................

Oh, and no, my husband isn't home yet. It's 6:45. I figured it was too good to

be true!!!

Oh, Tom got home, and with dinner from KFC. That's good enough for me! So

he was later than he said he would be, but I didn't have to cook!

Always my idea of a GREAT night! :-)

Love Lana

Hi ,

Yes, I have followed your emails......way too much for a young girl her age

to have to deal with. I am so sorry, but I have no doubt that in time she will

grow into a strong young lady, she just will need more time and there is

nothing wrong with that. My daughter is very much the same in that department.

She will be nineteen this May and is still in high school.

I agree, it surely does sound like has a connective tissue disorder.

Urinary tract problems are a biggy in my family. Almost every person with

EDS has had reflux with recurrent UTIs, kidney damage and both my younger sister

and daughter had to have extensive surgery to repair. Now Ginny has problems

with dilated ureters, even though those were tapered in her surgery, they

stretched back out. Ginny's internal organs are very stretchy, as she has

megacolon too. My youngest has GI problems and lots of respiratory

problems.....no

urinary tract problems though, Thanks God! It never ceases to amaze me the

variability in EDS even within a family......we are all so different.

Hang in there!

Hugs,

Sue

Hi,

Thanks. It feels good to have people back me up on this.

I know she'll get through it all. She's just gonna take longer than most kids.

That's ok.

I don't ever want her to leave me. Since the day she was born, I said to my

husband -

" know we are gonna have to buy a lot of land so we can build her a house for her

future family to live at " , and said the same thing with each of my other kids.

Not that I want her to stay ill so she will stay with me, but you know.

I know some of 's friends whose parents are telling them when they turn

18, they have to move out of the house. I can't imagine that at all.

will just take a little longer to get there. And I'm here to help her

through it all until she gets there.
