Guest guest
I've been in pain and have limped since 8 years old. I'm a healthy, active, 44 year old man, with the exception of the hip. It is now time for me to get surgery. I have endured intense pain for decades with the hope that I may postpone a THR (seemingly inevitable). And now I'e learned of the resurfacing. I am somewhat relieved, as I had dreaded having to face revisions and their inherent problems. Would any of you care to discuss what you may know regarding the differences, if any, between the Belgiun or U.S. procedures and their respective results. And would you share your criteria for your decision? As well, I would like to thank all of you who have taken the time to share what you have learned/experienced. I know that you remember how scary it was to be where I now am. And the knowledge and experience you have so freely shared has been such an enormous gift to me in this tough time. And I look forward to the day when I can share my successes with someone who is facing the same tough decisions. Chris
