Guest guest
Yes, if the allithiamine is TTFD it is dangerous and doesn't remove any heavy metals so it should be stopped. If it does useful things there are other sources of thiamine that work fine and aren't dangerous. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply. Can you explain why it is dangerous? Also, any comments on the glutathione in the chelation process? Nicolas did show significant amounts of mercury coming out on a post- challenge test. I am trying to get the best info regarding chelation because I still believe that there is more there to deal with and want to let our Dr. know how we want to proceed. I really appreciate your input and that of anyone else. <AndyCutler@a...> wrote: > Yes, if the allithiamine is TTFD it is dangerous and doesn't remove any > heavy metals so it should be stopped. Guest guest
> Thanks for the reply. Can you explain why it is dangerous? Lots of parents report horrific long term worsenings on giving it to their kid, even in modest amounts. I suspect it is the " TFD " part, tetrahydrufurfuryl mercaptan. > Also, > any comments on the glutathione in the chelation process? It is irrelevant but not dangerous as long as it is not injected. Doctors who use it however are clearly demonstrating a complete lack of any relevant knowledge about chelation, physiology, metabolism, or how to help your child get well. It is a long complicated discussion that didn't seem responsive to what you were asking below, especially since your doctor prescribed some poison (TTFD) for your kid along with a material, glutathione, that at worst makes him feel icky while he is using it and at best actually does make him feel a lot better. > Nicolas > did show significant amounts of mercury coming out on a post- > challenge test. Another long complicated discussion would lead to why this is completely irrelevant. 100% of all people will show more mercury coming out if you give them any reasonable challenge agent and collect the sample properly. This doesn't mean they are toxic. > I am trying to get the best info regarding chelation because I still > believe that there is more there to deal with and want to let our > Dr. know how we want to proceed. Check the files section for things like the FAQ and the Andy Index. There is much informative material there. > I really appreciate your input and that of anyone else. > > >

You can find a lot of commentary on glutithione (and other sulfury stuff), here: http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ANDY_INDEX.html After you get to this URL, look for a section heading about sulfur and thiols. There will be many links to items about glutithione. It is a somewhat complex/confusing topic. But glutithione is not a chelation agent, so you can start with thinking about that aspect. > Nicolas > did show significant amounts of mercury coming out on a post- > challenge test. > > I am trying to get the best info regarding chelation because I still > believe that there is more there to deal with and want to let our > Dr. know how we want to proceed. > > I really appreciate your input and that of anyone else. My input is that this list may well help you out a lot. Chelation is about as controversial as anything I know of. Here is my opinion on " best " : http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/Andy_dose_sched.html good wishes, Moria
