Sim, thank YOU for being such a great support, yourself, on this

group.

I'll never forget how my life changed over 2 years ago when I

switched to Armour. And it wasn't the least bit subtle--it was

profound. To go from applying for disability, crying, depressed,

unable to do more than stay at home.........to owning my own store

and having the energy of a teenager....was profound.

And I didn't get there because someone told me, or because there was

a group focused like this who could help me. I had to work SO hard

to find out what I know now, and about Armour. It was truly like

climbing up a cliff by my fingernails. I went through NUMEROUS and

invasive tests over the years---a muscle biopsy, strange tests that

diagnosed the possibility of a Glycogen Storage Disease...or a

Mitchodrial disorder. It was ALL bad. But...none of it made sense.

My gut told me something ELSE was WRONG WRONG. When a potential

diagnosis was made for my strange and debilitating symtpoms, I'd

hibernate emotionally for a few months, then get right back on the

computer and search. I didn't give up. I refused to accept any

diagnosis that was given to me.

And finally, I figured it out. Makes me angry to think about it.

And..I got on Armour, and the rest was history. So.......the group

was formed. I did NOT want ANYONE to go through the HELL that I went

through.

And now, we are several hundred just like me--changed by

Armour/natural thyroid. And I can tell when I get on the net that

LOTS and LOTS of folks are figuring it out who know nothing about

this group!! HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we are all pioneers, fighting the idiocy of the medical

establishment. Major pats on the back of all of us. WE are preparing

the path for the rest of folks out there who aren't on the computer,

or who put their complete trust in doctors who know NOTHING. The

word is spreading. Thank God.

Janie
