Guest guest Posted September 22, 2002 Report Share Posted September 22, 2002 Joanna, I get muscle cramps all over my body when hypo....especially in my legs in the middle of the night that wake me up screaming! I have even had them in my breasts. Once my parents were taking me to the doctor and I got a cramp in my breast and my poor dad thought I was gonna die! Scared all of us. Guest guest Posted May 20, 2004 Report Share Posted May 20, 2004 I have been having lots of problems lately with the swollen ankles. The dr put me on hctz and it really helped alot, until it interferred with my kidneys. They took me off that and put me on norvasc to help with my blood pressure and the norvasc made my ankles swell. I'm stopped taking that and they have given me a new med that I haven't gotten filled yet. Can you ask your dr for some kind of diuretic(sp)? That helped me alot until it messed with my kidneys.
