Guest guest
Hi everyone. We are considering trying the high dose Vitamin A therapy for our 5 year old son. He is doing quite well. He has a processing problem and some social deficits, but these are improving with chelation. His attention has been off lately, and I am wondering if it is because I switched to Nordic Naturals cod liver oil and he has not been getting as much vitamin A as I was giving him previously. He has been doing more eye-stimming lately and I thinkI need to increase the dose (we have also completed 57 rounds of chelation). Needless to say, I am thinking we need to try the mega-dosing of Vitamin A. (We also still battle the bug problems and I am wondering if the high- dose Vitamin A will help his immune system to work a little better). How many of you have done the mega-dosing of Vitmain A and how were the results? I would love to hear both positive and negative comments. Thanks! I did high dose with my #2, I have Dr. McCandless' info, and my son's experience, on this page here http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm This protocol, plus olive leaf extract, were the last " puzzle pieces " for my son. We completed chelation after about 84 rounds, now I do only maintenance rounds. Good luck. Dana
Guest guest
Hi --I did not do the mega-dosing, but I did reach toxicity over a few months of 25,000 iu per day on my daughter. She had high measles titers, so I was trying to kill measles. I can tell you that she began socializing more, and has developed a TON of speech since going vitamin A toxic. She also has started eating a lot of different foods. It is very clear to me that we killed something, because the change was dramatic. In retrospect, I should have done the mega dosing over a couple days, as I have been told it was pretty risky doing several months at the dose I gave, but things worked out anyway. It has been the best thing we have tried for my daughter. Hope that helps.--Tod > Hi everyone. > > We are considering trying the high dose Vitamin A therapy for our 5 > year old son. He is doing quite well. Guest guest
, I tried the mega dosing as well but Dr M has now suggested to use klaire Mycel A. I used thorne so I guess I will try again. We have been working on getting the gut intact and my son has improved greatly so I am not sure if the Vitamin A worked as well. nne > > Hi everyone. > > > > We are considering trying the high dose Vitamin A therapy for our 5 > > year old son. Guest guest
What's wrong with the Thorne? Is it that they have to swallow so many capsules instead of taking a teaspoon of the Micel-A? We tried the micel-A about 1 year ago (only with about 40,000 IU), and he was eye-stimming all over the place. I have the Thorne and was planning on using that -- can you help me understand why she not recommending the Thorne?
