Guest guest
TIP ELEVEN: It sometimes pays to call a Senator or Congressman's office for help Though it is never guaranteed to help, sometimes a disability case can be positively affected by the intervention of a politician. By contacting a Congressman or Senator's office, a Congressional Inquiry can be made into why a particular case is taking so long. Such inquiries (which simply involve a telephone call) are made by an office holder's staff members and, on occasion, they can have the immediate effect of speeding up a hearing, or resolving a problem on a disability claim.
