Guest guest
Ummmmm well- That picture was before the first surgery- that led to compartmental syndrome/ double aneurysms...... and the bruising did eventually work itself down and out my toes...... but the surgery was difficult one- they had to take out nearly 8 inches of vein and then tie them off?? something to that nature- the leg is pretty much dead------ I can't gauge pressure with it or anything and to step on something small , like even a bit of paper- it throws me for a loop - which makes no sense if the leg is dead- but o well, EDS is weird in itself- That bruise happened from nothing more than a muscle spasm........ that was the third time in my life I had that happen - only this time it led to that surgery............ But it does look better- I can make it do things with my brain power - doctors are shocked that I have made it do as much as I can make it do........ That was in January of 2001- if you go to my site - you can check out some more pics of a later photo- ( I had a year of heck ) surgery after surgery- happening after happening ------ and the only thing that drs can do now- is treat me with chronic pain medications and tell me not to get hurt. Here is the url: ( in a table is some pics of the damage a cell phone nic can do to a person with VEDS.... ) http://moondancer.150m.com/ehlers.html Hugs- TJ Oh my TJ. You poor thing! I just looked at the picture of your leg. I'm so sorry. How badly does it hurt? I hope things are settling down. I haven't been on the computer for a couple days. Are you getting any better? What are the drs doing for you? Big hugs,
