Here in Washington, you can dial *57 to trace the call. I had to use this

to stop a harassing caller one night. I got over 10 phone calls after 1:00

a.m. I didn't know the caller. I called the police and they told me there

was nothing I could do until I used *57. I used it and I told the caller

that their call was being traced and sent to the police. They stopped

calling immediately. Here is a site that tells you more about it.
