Guest guest
Okay, I have a question for everyone. My coworker and I had it out today, which was a good thing, because it cleared the air. Afterward, we were talking, and she asked if I had considered taking anti- depressants. To which I replied that I wasn't depressed. I was more in need of anger management classes, than anything else. Well she said, " You might not be depressed, but you're certainly not happy. You don't have any of that spark that most people have. " Which made me think. She's right, of course. I might not be going home and crying every night, or feel like everything is hopless, but I can't remember the last time I was actually really and truly happy. All my energies go into keeping myself going and functioning. I don't have anything left over for enjoyment. So, my question is, to those of you who are taking anti-depressants, have you found that they make you happy, or just not depressed? Did you rediscover some joy in living? If so, I think maybe I will ask for some anti-depressants when I go for my appointment at the pain clinic in a few weeks. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for all your help. Take care,
