Hi everyone~~

My Ex- was building houses with our Church in Mexico this week end and fell

off a scaffolding!

He fell 11 feet and landed on his head!

He would not go to the ER Sunday and Monday.

What could I do?

We don't live together so I had no way of knowing how bad it was.

I could not drive Monday and Tuesday anyway due to my cervical epi on Monday.

On Tuesday afternoon he happened to mention to me that his arms were numb!

Aughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

W H A T ?????? ARE YOU KIDDING why DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS

SOONER???????????????

Was that loud enough?

I immediately called my neck guy and they got him in yesterday.

When I saw him I just could not believe my eyes.

Bruised from head to toe, face swollen on one side, hands swollen to twice

their size and he was moving his neck like he had bolds thru in all directions!

X-rays showed not bulge or ligament stretches.

But the numbness scared my neck guy so he sent him over for an MRI

immediately to Hoag Hospital. Well, not immediately ... apt was at 8pm.

Now ... keep in mind that morning I had to drive 27 miles to pick up films at

the pain management doc, then another 15 miles to shoulder guy, at 10 am I

had major injections in shoulder, then 20 miles to his place, picked him up for

his apt at 1pm, back to the hospital for his 8 pm MRI, 20 miles, Back to his

place, 20 miles, arriving at about 9 30 pm, finally back to my place, 23 more

miles, getting got home myself at 10 pm. Not only was my shoulder hanging out

of the socket but my little shriveled up RSD hand was purple swollen and

sweating like a pig. I had not taken ANY pain medication all day to be sure I

was

alert for all information re: and so I didn't smash into cars or busses

along the way. I was so tired I almost cried when I drove in my garage but I

was too tired to cry!

Now, all together you say..... Ooooooh, Ooohhhhhh, Ahhhhh, Poor baby!

OK, back to ... The doc said that he was as close to breaking his neck

as you get without actually doing so. He only cracked one little bone in his

baby finger.. no fractures in spine or skull..... That, of course, do to his

thick headedness! LOL!

Anyway ... the numbness in his arms is really an issue so we go back today

for MRI results and possible treatment plan.

Oh boy more driving ... goodie!

This all to say I have not been at my computer for a day and will not be able

to be till later tonight. If there are any questions directed to me ... can

you repost and put my name by it? By the time I get to my mail there will be

over 500 messages I doubt I can read all of them.

PS: The RSD in my hand is behaving itself this morning. Shoulder hurts like

the dickens.. OK it hurts like - (**^&^%%#%^%^&**) but I react that way to

joint interruptions so I am not that concerned. If this does not do the

trick... Scope is next.... But not till after the conference I told my doctor...
