Hello Ellen and everyone,

IMHO ALWAYS get copies of all test results! I run a diabetic

support group and am always stressing to our members to ALWAYS ask for

copies from any tests done. You are your own best advocate. Too many

times tests gets misplaced, lost or never get to the right doc or

office. It really helps when things are time sensitive. I found hand

carrying is the best way. This way you always have the tests. I was

told this 21 years ago by my oncologist. I've been doing it ever

since. I'm on volume #4 now. It has come in handy more times than I

care to think about.

>Ellen,

>I think you will have to see an endocrinologist for your thyroid. Your primary

care dr should be able to recommend one. You are in my prayers.
