Guest guest
So sorry to hear you are having such a difficult time. The people in this group are compassionate and helpful so keep writing and letting people know what's going on with you. I've been taking T'ai Chi for two years (just came from a class this evening) at our local Jr College. I find it challenging and really, really good for the mind and the body. The range of ages in my class runs from 18 to 73 so age is no barrier. It really is a meditative sort of exercise program once you've mastered the forms. I was slow to learn them but just stuck with it until they stuck with me. I've only been diagnosed since Mar 22 but I know now I've had lupus for at least two years. I wondered if the T'ai Chi would be a problem because of the aches in my legs and hips but it hasn't. The movements are slow and graceful but at the same time give the whole body a warmup without bothering knees, legs, and hips. This has been my experience. Don't know if others in the group have tried it but I recommend it. Lots of love, C.
