Guest guest
As you stand in line at the supermarket: Turn to page 30 of the Nov. 22 issue of NATIONAL ENQUIRER magazine. There's a full page story about mercury in the flu shot, with pictures of Rep. Dan Burton and Lyn Redwood with her son. Very respectable fact-filled text, too. The Internet may be God's gift to gossipers, but the Enquirer still delivers the goods. They've had some pretty good investigative scoops over the years. And they're like pit bulls. Perhaps they'll keep spinning this story. Hokkanen Minneapolis

Guest guest
Actually, a lot of people believe the Enquirer, and they've kick started a number of investigations that eventually went into the mainstream over the years. Their investigative reporters are very thorough and well compensated. jromkema wrote: >Yes, but who will believe the Enquirer???? >Barb > [ ] Check out Nov. 22 NATIONAL ENQUIRER, pg 30 for >Thimerosal story > > > > >>As you stand in line at the supermarket: >> >>Turn to page 30 of the Nov. 22 issue of NATIONAL ENQUIRER >>magazine. Guest guest
Sallie, Thanks for filling me in. And thanks for the wonderful job you are all doing on the national level. We at the grassroots are rooting for you!!! I'm wondering if you can tell me what's happened with the IOM. Did they finally make their recommendations? The second report on reporting " preliminary " data using NIP's " iterative approach " is due out in January, if I recall correctly.
Guest guest
To those of you who don't think an article in the National Enquirer has any clout you should remember that the story about H. pylori causing ulcers, now considered mainstream, got its kick start from the National Enquirer. No mainstream news outlet would carry the story until the N.E. did. It caught fire from there and the rest is history. Guest guest
Makes you think of " Men in Black, " where they read the enquirer for the real news. Andy . . . .. . > Okay, I'm waiting.
