Guest guest Posted November 15, 2004 Report Share Posted November 15, 2004 What is a " FIR " sauna? I don't tollerate heat well either, but the FIR Sauna doesn't bother me. DD and I go in when its only 28C (sorry Cdn) and if it gets hot, I open the door a couple of inches. > >> What is the best way to use a sauna on a 3 year old child? > >> > >> Regards, > >> > >> Dino > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ======================================================= > > Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted November 15, 2004 Report Share Posted November 15, 2004 FIR = FAR INFRA RED Far infra red penetrates heat into the body. Personally, I do not tolerate the heat of far infra red. 28 C is E X T R E M E L Y H O T for me........ over 100 degrees!!! I am heat intolerant I would be having seizure-like episodes in a couple of minutes or even much less in that kind of heat!!!! Sure wish I knew why. I wonder if heat makes mercury expand in the brain or something...that's just about what it feels like to me....When it hits high temps like 80 outside, I feel like my brain is in a mocrowave oven set on high. When I get attacks at night, I sleep with an ice pack under my head...even if it is freezing weather outside. Helps quite a bit. Any body have a clue as to what is giong on here??? ~Inga on 11/15/04 12:19 AM, Dino t at dinocgk@... wrote: > > What is a " FIR " sauna? > > Regards, > > Dino > > forjess95 <smcarthur48@...> wrote: > > Isn't that part of the point of FIR Sauna's, you can get the effects > without the heat. Guest guest Posted November 15, 2004 Report Share Posted November 15, 2004 Then I would avoid it until you get your mercury levels down. Slow and steady is the way to go . . . . This is a marathon, not a sprint. Our son probably has had few side effects because we have done this gently . . .
