Guest guest
Hi, everyone. I received a call from my cardiologist about an hour ago. It seems that the latest echocardiogram shows that my heart is very enlarged, it is leaking at the Mitral Valve, and he wants to do a more invasive echocardiogram in hospital, and an Arteriogram, also in hospital before making a decision about possible surgery options. That's all I know at the moment. The doctor's office will call me with the test times and dates, but I am to cancel the sleep study, and the heart stress test that was already scheduled for early next month. They are not what's needed, now. I am pretty calm about all this, for the moment. Probably in shock. But, it explains why I am so very tired, breathless, and unable to do much of anything. That part keeps getting worse, so the doc is anxious to get started on finding out what my options are. I will keep you all posted. Thanks for your support and concern. Love and hugs, Mike, aka: MM, aka: Miki, aka: Minniemyno
