Two of my girls have slight scoliosis - no definite reason why but

doctor thinks that EDS could be a contributing factor. However, we

discovered it before the EDS dx, and at that time the speculation was

on the fact that they both have a short leg. Their legs and their

scoliosis are very similar (same sides, same location, etc).

I have a short leg, too, but no scoliosis. I could have had it

growing up and just stretched and strengthened myself out of it.

However, now I have pelvic trouble - which is blamed on the short leg.

My mom has taken huge amounts of Vit. C for as long as I can

remember. She has a lot of joint problems, but not much pain (she

wiggles while she walks) - and the pain she does have goes away as

she moves around. She also had an MRI years ago when the hospital

first got one - they used her as a guinea pig (she'd had breast

cancer and they wanted to use her to check out their capabilities) -

At that time they said her body was full of arthritis - but she

didn't feel any arthritis pain - still doesn't about 15 years later.

Maybe it's the vitamin C. She also decided she wasn't going to have

arthritis!

My brother and I both have facial asymmetry complete with droopy eye -

never thought much of it though, like you said - I thought lots of

people (if not everyone) had it. Now I'm going to go around looking

at everyones face.
