Guest guest
Is this the Dr. Hicks that charges $45 for test kits that labs give him for free then forces you to pay $375 if you would like to know the results? We found this to be unusual since you also have to pay the lab hundreds of dollars to run the tests. $45 for a couple test tubes in a cardboard box isn't right. His office was forever holding our son's test results hostage hoping that we would schedule a web cam meeting. If this sounds like your guy, he barn-stormed through our part of the world just long enough to attract a few more $375 a pop internet web-cam patients and then he was gone leaving a dozen or so families out in the cold. The fact that he employs a new age-type psychic to perform readings on kids turned us off . We were told that she had a near-death experience and received powers to diagnose health problems. It was " OK because the doctor checked her " abilities " out and she was always right " , we were told. He was always trying to force us to buy our supplements exclusively from his shop, too, even though we could find them about 50% cheaper on the web. If you intend to chelate using Andy's ALA protocol don't be surprised if he dumps you. He told a close friend of ours that if she did he would no longer see her son. The funny part is METAL-FREE is reported to be an ALA-based product. The only thing it chelated was money from our bank account. [ ] Re: Metal-Free info needed. : By any chance, are you seeing Dr. Hicks as your DAN doctor? The reason I ask, is that we are also using Dr. Hicks and he is the only one I know of that uses Metal Free. I also saw a post you wrote on another site about SCD and the great gains you are seeing, I am going to look up that website. I heard that it is really tough to follow and you need to make everything by scratch...is this true? Thanks. Guest guest
We've been seeing Dr. Hicks and haven't heard anything about a psychic. Who is it? I don't like the sound of that either. I've been wondering if it has to be sooo expensive to see a doctor to help our son. I would like to find one closer to home too. We live in Arkansas and have been doing the web cam appts. Is there a good doctor close to Arkansas that goes along with Andy's protocol? Thanks Diane >The fact that he employs a new age-type psychic to perform readings on kids turned us off . I think it might be better to call them and ask them about this directly? Things do change. >I don't like the sound of that either. I've been wondering if it has to be sooo expensive to see a doctor to help our son. No it doesn't. Actually with sage advice from someone who pops in here from time to time, we've discovered that there are ususally reasonably-minded " mainstream " doctors that will work with Dr. Cutler's protocol. In fact, sometimes they are right under your nose. For example, when Dr. Hicks shut down his operation here we fretted a little bit because we no longer had a specialist. To our surprise our primary ped was more than willing to sign off on a file review, and she was rather geniunely impressed with Dr. Cutler's analysis. I guess the increase of developmental cases has actually caught the attention of primary peds as I've learned there are more and more scrambling to bring themselves up to speed on progressive treatment. I would like to find one closer to home too. We live in Arkansas and have been doing the web cam appts. Is there a good doctor close to Arkansas that goes along with Andy's protocol? Guest guest
I email them about their psychic and this is what I received back for their marketing director. Why do they need a marketing director? We have been seeing Dr. Hicks as well and this disturbs me a great deal. (In regards to your question; we do not employ a " psychic " . You may be getting the term mixed with medical intuitive. she is trained in kinesiology and has amazing gifts in being able to read people's energy fields. She is well known throughout the country and works with Dr. Hicks to help uncover many hidden solutions. I speak on her behalf and adore her because it is with her working with Dr. Hicks that I was able to help heal my son. I see the amazing work she does daily and she is truly our best " hidden " asset.)
