Guest guest Posted May 25, 2004 Report Share Posted May 25, 2004 For about a week I have been having weird feelings and pain on both sides and under my ribs. Kinda comes and goes. Today I started having sharp pains and cramping in my lower left side. It feels very much like a cyst bursting on my left ovary - but I had both ovaries removed last December. I don't have any burning when I go to the bathroom, but I have been going more often. My temp is 101 F. Surprisingly enough - I feel pretty good tonight - other than the pain in my tummy. For reference, I do have IBS. I have had my gall bladder removed and a full hysterectomy. What do ya'll think it could be? I called my doc tonight at 9:00PM and she called me back. (she's a good one!) She seems to think it is diverticulitis or possibly a kidney stone. She plans to call in Flagyl and Levaquin tomorrow morning (no drugstores open) but said if the pain gets any worse, to go to the ER. I was just wondering if anyone else has had these same symptoms and what it turned out to be. Hope everyone is resting comfortably. Take care!
