Guest guest
Deanna and Bratty-Pooh, Don't you just love it when they say that? My heart cath. procedure was like that, too. When they told me that they were going to give me a shot of Lidocaine to numb t he incision site for the catheter, I told them it takes at least six shots of the stuff to work on one tooth in my head, so they might want to rethink the dosage levels. Did they acknowledge my words? Nope. After I shrieked seven times, with each attempt to threat that damned catheter, they ended up giving me nine shots of Lidocaine to get it numb enough so I didn't squirm in pain. We Lupus patients are not like normal people, we never know from one MINUTE to the next how our bodies will react to anything, so we have to be prepared for immediate action. I don't get it, that THEY don't get it. Do you? Hmmmmm..... I sure hope your poor bum feels better soon. Love, MM
