I began " remembering things " in 1993, when I sobered up. it was very strange for

me, as the things I began to remember were very frightening. Two yrs later I

went to therapy, as the memories became more & more vivid, and painful.

I recommend therapy to anyone who is trying to remember their past. Therapists

are trained professionals who are supposed to be able to help you " be " the kind

of person YOU choose to be, not Thier idea(L) of who you should be. If you do

not feel as if they are being helpful withing a month or two, get a different

one. Just make certain it's not due to your holding things back, as we all tend

to do this at first...
