Guest guest
, Congratulations to you! I believe you'll find it easier now to give yourself permission to enjoy the foods you love AND still lose weight. That's the beauty, the glory, of the Weight Watchers program! Fear is our enemy -- but caution is our friend! I remember the many fears I've overcome along the journey and the joy of discovering that I do not have to give up my favorite treats forever. I love being able to enjoy pizza every Friday night, and with careful planning, going out for meals with my family and friends. But.... part of the process also involves learning about ourselves.... what foods do we seriously have to avoid? You know what I mean?....what we call Trigger Foods or Red-Light Foods.....the ones that trigger a binge. The ones that for some reason we can't make ourselves stop eating, if we allow that first bite or small portion. Even now, 18 months into this, I sometimes discover a food that I wasn't aware was a Trigger for me. I have a feeling this journey doesn't end when we reach goal, but rather it will be a lifetime of discovery and realization and confronting fears and triggers, but hopefully a lifetime of overcoming and succeeding! You did good! Hugs, Bette
