Found out from a friend of mine who is a vet in Kansas that dogs who have allergies release histamines through their paws... that's what makes their paws itch and why the lick them all the time. If they have a skin condition somewhere else on their body, ears, etc. it makes their feet itch and they sometimes can lick them raw. Does she lick her feet? just wonderin'.
