Guest guest Posted June 4, 2004 Report Share Posted June 4, 2004 yes diflucan is for women's problems...yeast infections mostly...nizoral is a drug used to fight fungal conditions. I have a rash on my neck that is a type of fungus from exposure to the sun...it sounds icky but it is not...the nizoral was helping it too....had four pills to take...one for four days...was half way done when it hit my kidneys... I went to the hospital for tests today. The nephrologists ordered them immediately. I will get the results tomorrow. i also called the dermatologists who prescribed the meds and he said the meds would not do that to me...sure...i looked nizoral up...it causes liver damage...and my kidneys went nuts with it...so i guess from now on i have to clear whatever drug i am gonna get from other docs with the nephrologists...go figure....chippy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
