Guest guest
I was cleaning out my emails a few days ago and came across a posting you made last June that Barb forwarded to me. What I know today versus what I knew back then are like worlds apart. At any rate, you had the following line at the bottom of your post: " I know in the past we have speculated on 'connective tissue' and a speculative 'psychic' energy that might result from this. " I can categorically tell you that for those of us who are heavily into " doing the work, " there is NO speculation or question. What I have read and been told in my various classes regarding the meridians and energy centers is that the meridians are physically " embedded " in the fascia. Fascia IS the body's connective tissue. It is one continuous sheet that interconnects and wraps every bone, organ, muscle, fiber and cell in the body. From a " western " perspective, I saw a study just last week that raised the question of just where the " mind " actually is. There is growing scientific evidence that it is not in the brain afterall. I find this very interesting because those of us who are heavy into the energetic modalities are convinced that the " mind " is actually in and a function of the fascia, not the brain. Is there a psychic component to this? Two years ago, I would have (and did) reject the idea out of hand. Even a year ago, I would have shied away from the idea. Today? Let's just say I have seen and done some things the last few months (things that have NOT hit open posts) that have caused me to completely reevaluate everything I ever thought or believed. So, in answer to your specific question - yes, there most definitely is a psychic energy involved with the connective tissue.
